You know that windows media center is a great application which is use for managing and displaying the pictures. Here in this article we are going to tell you that how you can crop, edit, and print pictures from windows 7 media center.

In the picture library of windows media center you have to select the picture and then right click and then select picture details. This option will also appear after clicking the “i” button.

 

 

Rotate a picture

Here you can see the options on the screen which is called Picture Detail screen in which pictures can print, rotate, delete , or touch up, or burn a CD/DVD. You just need to select the option like if you want to rotate just select the option Rotate. You can also save the pictures in new orientation for that you just save it from touch up screen.

 

 

If you will select rotate then at every click you will see that picture rotate 90 degree clockwise. When you will select rotate then you can see picture is displayed in new orientation on the picture detail screen.

 

 

Now for this purpose you just need to select Print from picture detail screen.

 

 

When you will click on the print button again then media center will automatically print it to the default printer. Here you just need to set the default printer.

 

 

Crop and Edit Photos

If you want to edit or crop the picture then you have to select Touch up.

 

 

After clicking on the touch up button you will see these options on the screen save, cancel, redeye, contrast, crop, and preview. Now for crop the photo you will select crop option.

 

 

After selecting the crop option you will see cropping area displaying on the picture.

 

 

Now you will use buttons below the pictures for setting the size, location and orientation of the picture for cropping.  

 

 

When you will get your desired area then just click on save.

 

 

When you will click on the save button then you will see the dialog box which will ask you whether you want to change in the picture or not. You will click on yes button to save the changes permanently. 

 

 

Here you can also select the other options like contrast and red eye. These are toggle options means there are no advance setting for these options. You just can on and off these options.

 

 

The one thing which is important you just need to make sure that you have save the changes before exit it.

 

 

With the help of this functionality you can edit and print the photos directly from Windows Media Center. You can perform all your edit with comfort with the help of media center remote.
