The problem is that it’s very small icon and click on it and sees the menu is a pain for user.

You can say it’s easy but somehow clicking on the icon in tray is not good.

Create a Shortcut to the  Safely Remove Hardware  Dialog

Right click on the desktop and select New then select Shortcut

Then  location box  will open write this line in it.

RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll

Write the name of it then you will see the shortcut on desktop.

Now it will pull up Safely Remove Hardware dialog

Assign a Shortcut Key

You can also set the shortcut key to it. Simply right click on the icon and select properties. The dialog for properties will open then select Shortcut tab.

Here you will write the shortcut key in the dialog. For the better working of the hot key you need to restart the system. Shortcut can move to another folder also, like in your quick lunch bar.

Add in the shortcut key and close the dialog. As long as the shortcut is on your desktop you shouldn’t have to restart anything for the hotkey to work. You can also move the shortcut to another folder, for instance your quick launch bar. For the Windows Vista you can use built in hotkeys rather than gave them manually one by one.
